Today Guides
What will you do today in Mill Valley?  Well, we've got some suggestions for you.  Our Today Guides, available at the Front Desk, contain countless suggestions for things to do while visiting us.  Ranging from day trips to shopping to beaches, our Today Guides are there to help you plan your ideal vacation.

Outdoor Pool
Come on in—the water’s great! Our large heated pool is a perfect retreat from the sweltering sun, offering hours of swimming and splashing if you’re looking to cool off. Prefer to soak up the rays instead? Our large deck, comfortable reclining chairs and a private cabana will help do the trick.  And don’t forget about the whirlpool spa!  Pool operates between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Complimentary Healthy Breakfast
Each morning between 6:30 and 9:30 a.m., follow the comforting smell of freshly brewed coffee to our beautifully appointed breakfast nook. A healthy spread including light yogurts, whole grain muffins, fruit, hard boiled eggs, and freshly baked breads is available seven days a week.  

Welcome Elixirs
Fridays call for something uplifting. Sundays require something to help you recover from the long week. Each day between 5 and 6 p.m., sip one of our complimentary elixirs to rev up for the night or prepare for tomorrow’s activities.  Each day offers a different elixir, specific to that day of the week.

Fitness Center
When hiking, biking and jogging isn’t enough, enjoy exercising in our premium fitness center stocked with weights and cardio equipment.

Complimentary Trail Bicycles
The nearby bike trails aren’t much use unless you have a bike to ride. Which is why Larkspur Hotel Mill Valley offers ten brand new trail bikes for guests to borrow, free of charge. Available sunup to sundown, these state-of-the-art Specialized Cross Trail bikes come with helmets, water bottles and locks, plus a list of trails to explore near Mt. Tam and Golden Gate National Park.  Bikes are available on a first come, first serve basis, sun up to sundown, with a two hour time limit.

S’mores Kits
The only thing better than a gorgeous view of Mt. Tam is a gorgeous view of Mt. Tam with a s’more in hand. Sit in front of our crackling outdoor fire pit with our signature s’mores.  Hershey’s chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker, heat it until gooey, and enjoy. Just like a kid at summer camp.  Best of all, our s'mores kits are free for you and your family from the hours of 6-10 p.m. at our fire pit.

Hike in a Bag
Curious about the local area? Discover it on foot with help from our Hike in a Bag, a fanny pack filled with a water bottle, a small compass, a first aid kit and waterproof trail maps of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tam State park. These bags are free for guests to borrow during their stay.
