The Larkspur Landing Pleasanton Completes $1.5 Million Renovation
Pleasanton Is First of Five Newly Renovated Larkspur Landing Hotels
CORTE MADERA, Calif. (November 3, 2005) - Larkspur Hotels and Restaurants, a Marin County-based hotel company, announced the grand re-opening of the new Larkspur Landing, Home Suite Hotel, located in Pleasanton, CA. The hotel, which was previously affiliated with the Candlewood Suites brand, recently completed a comprehensive $1.5 million renovation. In addition, Larkspur Hotels and Restaurants is in the process of renovating four other hotels, located in Milpitas, CA; Sacramento, CA; Hillsboro, OR; and Bellevue, WA, which will bring the total number of Larkspur Landing brand hotels in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest to 11.

The new Larkspur Landing Pleasanton has experienced an extensive renovation to the interior and exterior of the building. The lobby area has been completely refurbished and now offers an expanded front desk, as well as a new living room complete with a fireplace, library, breakfast bar, bamboo flooring and a fully equipped complimentary business center. A meeting room has been added, giving the hotel the capability to host small scale meetings and events. All 124 guest rooms now feature the new Larkspur signature FeatherBorneSM Bed, full in-room kitchens, complimentary High-Speed Internet Access, DVD and CD players and an extra large work space. The hotel also features an outdoor whirlpool spa, exercise room and complimentary laundry facilities.
The exterior of the hotel has been enhanced, offering visitors a new craftsman-style porte cochere and porch area. In addition, new signage, light fixtures, paint and trellises have been applied to the building.
