Congratulations to our eight winners:
Melinda Wittkower Maffei – The Belamar
Our house recently burned down due to an electrical fire and all our special family memories went with it (photos, baby books, home movies, wedding albums etc…) Would love to get away from the realities of life for just a bit with my husband and have some well deserved R&R!
George Smith - Casa Munras
My mother has Parkinson’s Disease and now lives with my wife and I. She requires 24/7 care and it is very hard for us to get away, even for a couple of hours. My wife deserves a respite for her dedication to my mom!
Cheryl Dinnie – Hotel Abri
I retired after teaching in an inner city for 35 yrs., raised my son alone w/ no child support and am now tutoring to pay for his college loans. I am lucky to have a job, but would love to kick and relax.
Lisa Lochner Moody – The Lodge at Tiburon
We booked 3 nights at the Lodge at Tiburon for our 26th wedding anniversary in August, but our stay was cut short. I ended up with severe back pain after the Giants game and ended up in the hospital. We would love to have a vacation/getaway with a better ending.
Jeff O'Dair – RiverPlace Hotel
A vacation would be great! I was laid off last year and my wife and I have not been able to afford to get away since then. I used to travel regularly in my last position to Bellevue, Washington and stayed at the Larkspur Landing during those stays.
Marlene Lerner-Bigley – The Sainte Claire
My husband who is a Vietnam veteran is having a biopsy on the 18th for his prostate. I am scheduled for a double mastectomy sometime this month, as well. The big "C" is like having a full-time job; so many decisions! A break would sure be nice...
Ida Jones – Toll House
Furlough Days: Trying to complete teaching assignments in less paid time with more students. Taking on extra jobs to increase the loss in household income. Making ends meet with less money. Thanking God for a fulfilled life. A vacation would be a nice cherry on a temporarily melting sundae!
Randall Blakeslee – Villa Florence
I’m just a single father who’s a soldier, works a second job in order to provide and I’m working on my masters to set an example for my children. I’m overworked, stressed and beat; but I keep pushing for my children. A small vacation would be an incredible blessing.
