Larkspur Celebrates the Launch of Eight New Websites with Facebook Contest
Bay Area-Based Hospitality Company Gives Facebook Fans a Chance to Win One of Eight Getaways
(Larkspur, CA) – October 6, 2009 –Larkspur Hotels & Restaurants, the Bay Area-based hospitality company, has launched eight new websites, one for each of its Larkspur Collection hotel properties. In celebration of the launch, Larkspur has announced its “I Need A Vacation Because...!” contest, allowing Facebook fans the chance to win one of eight exciting getaways to a Larkspur Collection hotel.
“The new websites strive to communicate each Larkspur Collection hotel’s unique personality, while creating a user-friendly, engaging website experience” says Vice President of Marketing, Richard Flores. “The ‘I Need a Vacation Because…!’ contest is a celebration of our Larkspur Collection brand and our eight new websites, offering our guests, fans and anyone who participates, the opportunity to experience one of our Collection hotels in style.”
To enter the “I Need A Vacation Because…!” contest, entrants must visit Larkspur’s Facebook page, become a fan, and in 50 words or less, describe why they need a vacation. On November 17, 2009 the company will select eight winners, who they deem to have the best reason for needing a vacation and will give away one getaway to each of the eight Larkspur Collection hotels.
“I Need A Vacation Because…!” winners will receive:
A two night stay with deluxe accommodations at a Larkspur Collection hotel (one winner selected per hotel)
$150 Southwest Airlines gift card
Dinner for two at the corresponding hotel’s restaurant
Bottle of sparkling wine in guest room
Early check-in and late check-out
“I Need A Vacation Because…!” contestants may enter their statements for why they need a vacation in 50 words or less on the Larkspur Hotels & Restaurants’ Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/LarkspurHotels, beginning on October 6, 2009 through November 17, 2009.
