Seasoned Hospitality Industry Veteran of Over Thirty Years Joins the Bay Area-Based Hospitality Company
(Larkspur, CA) – April 2, 2009 – Larkspur Hotels & Restaurants, the rapidly growing Bay Area-based hospitality company, has appointed Frederick De Stefano as Senior Vice President of Operations
De Stefano brings over thirty years of experience to his position at Larkspur Hotels & Restaurants where he will oversee the performance and day to day operations of Larkspur Hotels & Restaurant’s eight Collection hotels, six destination restaurants and its full-service SANO spa.
Most recently, De Stefano served as the Executive Vice President of the Southern California Region for Joie de Vivre Hospitality where he led the company’s expansion efforts in the region. Before assuming the position of Executive Vice President at Joie de Vivre, De Stefano served as the company’s Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for nine years, where he was responsible for all aspects of operations management for their thirty-five hotels and five restaurants.
Prior to his work with Joie de Vivre Hospitality, De Stefano worked with Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio, a full-service hotel management company in a number of capacities, including serving as a Regional Director of Marketing.
